Day 25 October 8th Portomarin

Good wifi at this very large civic alberge in Portomarin or something like that.  The last 90 min of today's walk were in heavy driving rain. (after my beer and tuna pie lunch.... (See photo).  But I've had a beaut hot shower and hung stuff out to dry. My leg has come up again but the rest now will do it good. I'm planning to walk tomorrow to a town from which I can get a bus direct to Santiago if I want.
No success with either bag or book, but photoed maps into my phone for the final few days of the Camino. Used the new bag last night. Went ok Will rest now for a while. God bless. Love to all

Now having a very nice Pelegrino meal near the church where there's mass at 8pm. Have decided to do my next leg by bus. Leg quite sore and stiff. I made the mistake of not finishing my course of Ibuprofen pills. Anyway all is well. My meal is delish. Local squid soup, and now pork. Very nice. The red is good; as always, there's more than I can drink!!!  Peace to all. Michael

I forgot to say - on TV in this restaurant as I eat is a promotion program for, I'm almost certain, ' Priscilla in the Desert'. I was thinking I was right and they've just introduced a live kangaroo in the studio. I must see the show one day.  M
